Con Day 4

Last night, Phillip had a lot of work to do for the Charity Auction, which didn’t get over until around eleven o’clock. I got a lot of reading done.

When he got back to the hotel room, we went out to a party – hosted by the same people who hosted Friday night’s party, since, of course, they were the only ones with a banquet license. It was a livelier crowd than Friday. Plenty of negative words were directed toward the LCB. It was a whole lot of fun.

Today was the Charity Auction, with all sales going toward Northwest Harvest. I bought two novels, a graphic novel, a game, and a piece of artwork Phillip wanted. There was something else I bid on, but didn’t get, but I don’t remember what it was.

The Charity Auction took up the majority of the day. In fact, it was the only thing I did at NorWesCon today.

I went back to our hotel room, and played around on the laptop before starting to pack up. Phillip was finished a lot sooner that I had expected – I was still playing on the computer when he walked in.

We packed up and checked out, and were on the road home, in record time. Phillip commented that we packed up today more efficiently than we’d packed up on Thursday. He may be right.

Now we’re home, and I’m exhausted.
