The Kilmer Household
Raven Kilmer died of old age.
The Kilmer household is now the Elder Taryn Rhodes, the Young Adults Landyn Weaver-Kilmer and Belinda Sparks, and the Children Briana Kilmer-Sparks and Marcelo Kilmer-Sparks, plus the live-in butler, and the ghost of Boomer the dog.
There have been several family discussions about their house, which is starting to feel too large for the decreasing household. Is it time to move to a smaller house on a smaller lot (and, if so, where?), or keep the current lot but build a smaller house, or keep the current house?
There has also been some discussion about Boomer’s ghost. If the Kilmers do choose to move to a smaller lot, should they take Boomer with them? Or, is it time to transfer him to Lawsen Cemetery?
Boomer is emotionally tied to the current lot in Henford-on-Bagley, where he has already died twice. (Remember the aging glitch?)
Boomer is a good ghost dog, who has gifted the family with a complete collection of feathers.
The Strange Household
Amy Strange misses her partner, Holden Eric Park, but is managing to stay happy in her solitary Elder days on her isolated farm.
She enjoys the occasional visitor.
Amy keeps herself spry and active.
She does occasionally forget that she’s already poured herself a cup of tea, and pours herself another cup, but don’t we all?
I don’t understand why Amy’s farm animals never age. (Henry and Mary Burke’s original chickens are still around, too.) I have that box checked that allows animal aging.
Wild animals do die. I’ve seen it happen. But farm animals, it seems, live on and on.
The Compton Household
Keri Compton has become good friends with her neighbor across the hall, Penny Pizzazz.
Keri has also become friends with Ari Horne, the vampire, who she met at the Perfect Balance Spa.
The four friends – Keri, Penny the neighbor, Ari the vampire, and Yoga Instructor Ami Yokii the girlfriend – hang out in Keri’s apartment often.
Keri is still trying to understand her feelings about Yoga Instructor Ami being her girlfriend. She uses her art to sort out those mixed feelings.
One day, Yoga Instructor Ami proposed marriage to Keri. (I had no idea that NPCs had that much autonomy.)
Keri wonders why she said yes.
